The following are some words and lingo we use most. This is for those who don’t understand us, but that’s okay, strangers rarely do.
- chicken (chik-uhn)- Nickname for friends closest to you. Also friends that are as close as family.
- TSBS (T.S.B.S)- Used in texting, acronym for “That’s Some Bull Shit!”
- ear sex (eer seks)- word used to describe good music. Sounds that make your ears happy.
- cotton eyes (kot-n ahyz)- When your eyes get extremely dry. The eye version of “cotton mouth.”
- Twiddle (twid-l)- often explained to make straight males squeemish, a backwards version of the “shocker.” I.E “twiddle the balls with the pinky.” Also used in place of “tweet” when talking about Twitter.
- Yeah, man (yai man)- used as a general phrase of agreement between friends.
- twinzin’ (twin-zen)- used between friends when phrases, actions, or thoughts take place at the same time. I.E “I was just listening to Led Zeppelin too, we’re twinzin’ it!!”
- bro-ho (broh-hoh)- a term to describe a woman that gets along better with men, not just a tom-boy; may have a tendency to fall for her “bros.”
