So, I’ve decided, it’s time to get on my soapbox. It’s been, way too long since I have posted anything going on in my life, one reason as not to jinx myself. (with OCD, I can be slightly superstitious)

Over the past few months, there were slight areas of drama that are finally fading away. It’s as if all of the horrible times my friends and I had to endure, life is finally giving us a little hope. Not that I’m expecting everything from here on out to run smoothly, it’s now we are getting reminders that life really is exciting, spectacular and every now and again, just peaceful.

Two months ago I signed up for a little online dating, and heck, I even dished out the cash to give it a try, Something I wouldn’t have done years ago. So far I’ve only been on one date, haha, mainly because I’m seeing where things go. It’s all exciting and strange and weird for me, but in the best way, I swear. He makes me smile, makes me giddy, makes me girlie… to my dismay.

On the working front, my job, well, isn’t going so well. Not that being a waitress is ever “well” but I don’t feel like I used to at my job. I feel singled out and unappreciated. Something I guess happens everywhere. So many of my friends have left, been fired for idiotic reasons, it’s just so, sullen there now. I joke everytime I get into work that a tiny tiny piece of my soul dies when I walk in, totally feels that way. Soon I’ll have to leave “the creek” because of it, hopefully find something new to do.

Now, off the soapbox and lets get on to some music! I was listening to some Sneaker Pimps, (from when Kelli was still in the band) Oasis and some INXS before writing this, so I’ll share some videos. Enjoy!

P.S this now the time to work on some more “bucket list” items.

You know those nights you have with your friends? The ones where everything and nothing happens all at once and you’re left laughing so hard but not having any idea why? We have those too. Lucky for all of you we remember most of what we said/did. I’ve made a little list of things you all should try to do, maybe it’ll lead to just as fun of a night.

Quotes/Things to discuss-

Lucy: “Ok, so you’ll marry Donald Faison and I’ll marry Zach Braff.” Tish: “Yeah man, it’ll be like real life scrubs. I wanna be a phlebotomist so Ican work in the lab.” Lucy: “Yeah and I’ll volunteer at the hospital! But you know they’re not real doctors right? Donald Faison doesn’t have …his PHD.” Tish: “Oh shit…” (Lesson to take away from this? Just because they play doctors doesn’t MEAN they’re doctors)

Tish: “Sometimes I think we should just sign up for an open mic night and just sit around shooting the shit pretending we’re in the bathroom. Then everytime they laugh we can just pretend God found us so funny He gave us a laugh track!” Ryan: “Like Friends?” (Lesson to take away from this? Find something to record you and your friends with, a camera or a tape recorder, your cell phone would even work. The results can go both ways, could be funny could be sad)

Tish:”What noise does a zebra make?” Ryan: “Uhhh, think of what a zebra is.” Tish: “Yeah, I know it’s a horse but it doesn’t neigh, bitch.” (Lesson to take away from this? Get you and your friends together, look up zebra videos watch and listen to their random ass sounds. The videos are pretty addicting too.)

Lucy: “Long neck dinosaurs weren’t real man.” Tish: “…What? Like the ones from Jurassic Park? Lucy: “Yeah, they got the heads wrong, not the right dino or something.” Ryan: “No, what? Lucy, you can’t be fucking with us right now, cause that movie is a crucial part of my childhood and you’re fucking with my childhood right now. Don’t fuck with my childhood.” Tish: “Yeah man, that’s where I learned everything I even know about dinosaurs!” (Lesson to take away from this? Go to Wikipedia and find out if this is fact or not. You’ll get lost for hours in awesome dino facts and kick ass pictures.)

Next time I’ll have a list of recipes for you to try with a picture of the end product! Keep an eye guys, also keep an eye out for some of Lucy’s new crafts for sale. You’ll love them!!

I had previously posted how badly I wanted to make a bucket list, so I have finally started writing them down. I will update this list as it grows and post when I can, the results with pictures or video! So far I have 25 on my list, but I want to grow it to 100 eventually.

01. Take a trip to a foreign country.
02. Give my phone number to a cute guy or girl (doesn’t matter how, but they must know it is MY phone number).
03. Volunteer somewhere, help people after a disaster.
04. Have my own studio where I show all of my artwork, and crafts, even for just one day.
05. Go to an elegant restaurant where I have to dress formal.
06. Perform on a stage.
07. Learn Sweet Child O’ Mine on the electric violin.
08. Compose my own song.
09. Audition to be on a game show (maybe Let’s Make a Deal or Wheel of Fortune).
10. Make your own Marie Antoinette inspired dress, with corset and cleavage, and actually wear it.
11. Continue to keep on track with your dreams, no matter how hard your heart aches (I like this goal, and feel it’s something I will have to work on throughout my life).
12. Learn to drive a manual 5 speed car.
13. Own another mustang (since I crashed my other one).
14. Take a painting or other type of community art class.
15. Teach someone else how to do something.
16. Protest something you disagree with by going to a march or rally.
17. Ride a Vespa in Italy or Greece (since it’s been done in the movies).

So, I figured I’d post the fact that I just got in my very first car accident, not because I think anyone really cares, but I feel it’s still good to use this blog not only for music but as my own (very public) diary.

Back story: I just purchased my used mustang from a coworker of mine 2 months or so ago.

Firstly, there are a couple of things about this accident that are on the borderline of “fucking embarrassing” and “thank god!”

-listening to the beginning of Slipknot’s song “Satelite.”
-having most of my coworkers see or drive by.
-the other driver is a regular at the restaurant I work at. Sidenote: He likes breakfast burritos.
-having recurring dreams/feeling of a car accident coming my way soon. (The last dream was about a week ago)

The best outcome of all this is noone was hurt. We exchanged info and were on our way, after about an hour or so. Now I must look for something new, (liability sucks) but I know I will. My life and happiness are worth more than a car, which I think some forget, but not having to ever walk in Arizona heat is always nice. Everything was finally looking up for me, but this is just a huge pothole. Everything will get back on track.

I’ll will miss air conditioning and listening to “Snuff” while I drive to work.

Oh, and my freedom to go whereever the fuck I want.

I am far from done with all the jewelry I want to make, but I wanted to at least post that I AM still working with the site, I have just been pretty occupied. :) That said…

So after working on jewelry (I am still in a experimentive state with it all) and fan videos for the last 2 days, add to that, listening to some Emilie Autumn, I realized, I really want to make a bucket list.

I want to have at least 100 things on the list, as a start, but I think 100 is a pretty good sized list, depending what I have on it I guess. Anyway, I am going to make a rough draft of it right now, and I will add things as I go through my week. When I am all finished, I will make my post here.

If anyone wants to get in on this, (*coughtishyryancough*) that would be awesome, but remember, these are the things we must do before we die, before we’re too old, and before we lose ourselves completely.

I just wanted to let everyone know that this Saturday I will be posting about Lucy and I’s adventures while she was up here as well as the pictures. I still lack internet, sucky I know, but such is life. I’ll give you a taste of what to expect though!

We for some stupid reason thought it was a good idea to get stoned and go hiking.  As beautiful as it was there, the hike down was hardcore, the hike up was hardcore, the hike through the freezing cold water that went to our knees (Lucy’s thighs) was horrid. However for all of these troubles we were rewarded with some pretty great things the rest of the day, and with my next post you’ll be hearing and seeing all about them. For now though, here is a picture of the falls, where we were and just how insane and full it all was.  More to come soon my chickens!!!
